NUST Launches Second Edition of Young Students Engagement Program

Islamabad: The NUST Placement Office has launched the second edition of its Young Students Engagement Program (NYSEP) 2026, a program aimed at exposing high school students to university life and academic pursuits. The initiative seeks to empower students through experiences in innovation and leadership development over a two-week period.

According to National University of Sciences and Technology, the program has attracted 167 students from across Pakistan, allowing them to engage with the vibrant academic and co-curricular environment at the university. The opening ceremony of the program featured Pro-Rector (RIC) Dr. Rizwan Riaz as the chief guest, who urged participants to embrace curiosity, innovation, and lifelong learning.

The NYSEP is part of NUST's ongoing commitment to societal contributions and nurturing future generations. The program offers students exposure to science, technology, innovation, leadership, and personal development at one of Pakistan's leading academic institutions.
