Lahore: Zimal UET Lahore organized a Women’s Day Celebration on April 16, 2025, focusing on women’s achievements in leadership, entrepreneurship, and the arts. The event featured a series of talks by notable figures and was attended by key university officials.

The event included guest speaker Lubna Bhayat, founder of SheMeansWork and former President of the Women Chambers of Commerce, who spoke about empowering women entrepreneurs. Saba Asghar, Chief of Environment and CSP Alumni Chapter Lead at UET, discussed the critical role women play in environmental sustainability.

Hameeda Shaheen, a renowned poetess, enriched the gathering with her poetry that celebrated women’s strength. The event was organized by Zimal President Maheerah Khalid and Advisor Prof. Dr. Rehana, with sponsorship from 7th Sky Consultancy, Ranchers, and Parley Cosmetics.

The presence of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, as the Chief Guest, added significance to the occasion. The university’s commitment to recognizing and promoting women’s contributions in various fields was evident throughout the event.
