Lahore: The Department of Food and Nutritional Sciences recently hosted a training session focused on COFIC Product Branding and Labelling, targeting students and budding entrepreneurs. The event aimed to provide practical skills in branding and labelling, crucial for industry readiness.

The session featured notable speakers, including Dr. Hammad Naveed, Pro-Rector, Dr. Muhammad Athar Siddiqui, Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences, and Mr. Yaser Awan, Director of Innovation at Takhleeq Business Incubator. These experts offered insights and feedback to participants.

Dr. Waseem Hasan, Associate Dean, led the training session, covering essential topics such as food packaging, regulatory labelling, brand development, and market positioning strategies.
