Peshawar: The CAS National Junior Squash Championship concluded at the PAF Hashim Khan Squash Academy, marking a significant moment for young squash enthusiasts in Pakistan. Emerging victorious after a series of intense matches, Abdur Rehman, Raheel Victor, Sohail Adnan, and Nauman Khan have been named the new National Champions in their respective categories.
The championship saw Abdur Rehman from PAF overcome Anas Rafeh, also from PAF, in the U-11 category with scores of 9/11, 11/4, 12/10, 11/6 in a match that lasted 32 minutes.
In the U-13 category, Raheel Victor representing Sindh, defeated Ayan Mehboob from PAF with scores of 11/5, 11/13, 11/3, 11/7 in a 28-minute contest.
Sohail Adnan, competing for SNGPL, managed a decisive victory against Faizan Khan of the Army with a clean sweep of 11/5, 11/5, 11/5 in the U-15 category, concluding the match in 18 minutes.
The U-17 category saw Nauman Khan from the Army emerge as a champion, defeating Ahmed Rayyan Khalil from PAF with scores of 11/4, 7/11, 11/9, 11/5 in a closely fought 36-minute match.
The championship highlighted the skills and potential of young squash players from across the nation. The Pakistan Squash Federation, which organized the event, extended its congratulations to the champions and all participants, wishing them success in their future endeavors.
