Women University Mardan to Host Exhibition on Recycling and Environmental Innovation

Mardan: Women University Mardan, in collaboration with the University of Nebraska, Omaha, will host an exhibition on September 12, 2024, focusing on innovative ideas for recycling, reuse, and reduction, with the theme centered around climate change, environment protection, and remediation.

According to Women University – Mardan, the event titled “Innovative Ideas Hunt for Recycling, Reuse and Reduce,” aims to engage students in critical environmental issues through a variety of activities including a display of recycled items, and competitions in poster and model making. The exhibition is organized under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Safia Ahmad, Vice Chancellor, and spearheaded by principal organizer Dr. Monazza Serwar, alongside Dr. Rakhshinda Sadiq, Dr. Naila Zubair, Dr. Aisha Siddique, and Ms. Mariam Ahmed Mujtaba as the contact person.

The event is part of the “Developing Next Generation of Female Environmentalist in Pakistan” initiative, designed to foster a proactive approach to environmental challenges among students and encourage their active participation in sustainable practices.
