Sargodha: The Wazir Agha Library at the University of Sargodha recently concluded a two-day workshop designed to enhance the data analytics skills of faculty members from the Faculty of Sciences. The event aimed to bolster teaching and research capabilities through the adoption of modern computational methods.
According to University of Sargodha, the workshop, titled "Advanced Data Analytics Using Python," was conducted to improve participants' understanding of data analysis techniques and to promote the effective use of digital tools in research. Prof. Dr. Zahoor Ahmed, Chairman of the Department of Statistics, led the sessions, focusing on advanced data analytics techniques utilizing Python.
The event saw participation from over 30 faculty members across various departments within the Faculty of Sciences. In addition to structured lectures, the workshop offered hands-on practical sessions designed to equip attendees with both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise.
The workshop was organized as part of the Research Support Program of the Wazir Agha Library, under the leadership of Chief Librarian and Director Academics Dr. Uzma Shehzadi. The coordination of the event was managed by Research Support Librarian Javed Iqbal.
