Usama Mir Tops Wicket-Takers List in Pakistan Super League Season 9

Karachi: The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 season concluded with a strong performance by bowlers, highlighted by Usama Mir of Multan Sultans leading the list of top wicket-takers with 24 wickets in 12 innings.

According to Pakistan Super League, Mir’s standout performance included an average of 15.87 and a strike rate of 11.70, with his best bowling figures being 6/40. Close behind him was Muhammad Ali, also from Multan Sultans, who secured 19 wickets in 12 innings with an average of 18.63 and a strike rate of 13.57, delivering a best figure of 3/19.

Abrar Ahmed of Quetta Gladiators claimed third place with 16 wickets in 10 innings, while David Willey from Multan Sultans and Akeal Hosein from Quetta Gladiators rounded out the top five, each taking 15 wickets over the course of the tournament.

The PSL 2025 season is scheduled to begin in March, with fans eager to follow the performances of their favorite players in the next edition.
