ISLAMABAD: Students from the Institute of Art and Design at the University of Sargodha secured eight prominent positions at the 6th International Student Convention, marking a significant achievement for the institution on an international platform. The event showcased the students' creativity and professional excellence across various categories.

According to University of Sargodha, students demonstrated remarkable skills that reflect the quality of education and mentorship at the institute. In the Fine Arts category, Ms. Mahnoor Zia Lodhi achieved second position in painting, while Ms. Rida Imran secured third position in sketching. Ms. Shmaim Fatima earned second place in calligraphy.

In the Photography category, Mr. Hussain and Ms. Aneeqa obtained first and second positions respectively in the architecture segment. In the human category, Mr. Ammar was awarded first place, with Mr. Zaid following in second. Mr. Ahmad received the second position in the "Chaos and Calm" category.

Vice Chancellor of UoS, Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas, congratulated the winners, their mentors, and the Institute of Art and Design for their exceptional performance. "Such accomplishments reaffirm the university's commitment to promoting art, culture, and creative excellence among its students, while strengthening its reputation at national and international forums," he stated.
