Turbat: The University of Turbat held its second Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) Conference on August 25, 2026, focusing on social justice, religious harmony, and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The event, organized by the Directorate of Students Affairs, was attended by students, faculty members, and administrative staff.
According to University of Turbat, the conference was presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan and commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran. Dr. Hasan emphasized the importance of following the Prophet's teachings, which include maintaining kinship, ensuring justice, and making merit-based decisions. He stressed the significance of such conferences in educating the younger generation about Islamic teachings.
Speakers, including Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Salim and Mufti Zuhair Ahmed, discussed the integration of the Prophet's moral and social teachings into the modern education system. They highlighted the need for religious harmony, respect for humanity, and a culture of reconciliation. The speakers also praised the university's role in fulfilling its social, national, and religious responsibilities under Dr. Hasan's leadership.
The conference concluded with a prayer for the country's security, progress, prosperity, and peace, urging all to follow the exemplary conduct of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
