University of Sindh Jamshoro to Celebrate 77th Independence Day with Patriotic Fervor

Jamshoro: The University of Sindh Jamshoro, along with its affiliated campuses, has finalized preparations for a grand celebration of Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day. The festivities, set to include flag hoisting, a flag march, and patriotic tableaus, will take place across multiple locations, including the main campus in Jamshoro and regional campuses in Dadu, Nowshahroferoz, Badin, and Thatta.

According to University of Sindh, the central event will be held at the Hyder Bakhsh Jatoi Pavilion on the morning of Independence Day. Professor (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro, Vice Chancellor, will preside over the ceremony, with the national flag to be hoisted at 9:00 AM by Dr. Kalhoro and other academic and administrative officers. This will be followed by the national anthem and a security team salute.

The ceremony will continue with speeches and patriotic performances starting at 9:15 AM, showcasing the students’ devotion to the nation. At 9:30 AM, various tableaus will be presented, emphasizing themes of patriotism. The event will also feature a flag march around the pavilion grounds and the distribution of sweets, symbolizing the unity and joy of the occasion.
