Sargodha: The University of Sargodha's Career Development Center recently conducted an interactive training session designed to equip students with essential creative and technical photography skills. The event, "Roadmap to Photography," was part of the university's Skill Development Program and featured expert-led segments on both the artistic and practical aspects of photography.
According to University of Sargodha, the session began with Muhammad Usman, Incharge Public Relations and Publications, who introduced participants to the evolution of photography. He discussed its growing role as a medium for visual communication, covering its importance in storytelling, documenting history, preserving memories, and expressing emotions. Usman also outlined key photography principles, such as composition, framing, lighting, and perspective, alongside the ethical considerations photographers face in the digital age.
The technical portion of the session was led by Tayyab Ur Rehman, who provided insights into modern camera systems and equipment. Rehman elaborated on camera types, lenses, exposure settings, and the effective use of both natural and artificial lighting. Through practical demonstrations, he showcased how different settings impact image quality and offered techniques for capturing high-quality photographs under various conditions.
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, where students engaged with the speakers for practical guidance. Participants expressed appreciation for the industry-relevant knowledge gained and showed enthusiasm for applying these skills in academic projects and personal ventures.
