Rawalkot: A seminar focusing on the Global Undergraduate Ugarit Cultural Exchange Program 2023-24 was held at the University of Poonch, highlighting the scholarship opportunities for Pakistani students to study in the United States. The event covered key aspects such as the application procedures, eligibility criteria, and significant benefits of the program.
According to University of Poonch Rawalakot, Amina Chauhan, a faculty member from the Government Post Graduate College, Kotli, detailed the selection process and the eligibility requirements for the Global Fulbright Undergraduate Scholarship. She emphasized the transformative potential of the program for students’ careers and urged them to apply by the deadline of September 25.
Chauhan also discussed the program’s objectives, including its role in broadening educational horizons and fostering cultural exchanges. She highlighted that participants could choose their preferred subjects for a six-month academic stint in America, which could profoundly impact their professional and personal development.
The seminar was well-attended by a diverse group of students and faculty members from the English Department, including Zara Khalid, reflecting a keen interest in international educational opportunities.
