University of Haripur Showcases Student Innovation at Undergraduate Project Exhibition

Haripur, The University of Haripur’s Department of Information Technology, in collaboration with the Business Incubation Centre, recently hosted an Undergraduate Final Year Project Exhibition and Poster Competition at the Al-Ghazali Central Library. The event spotlighted the creative and technical prowess of its students through a display of innovative projects.

According to The University of Haripur, the exhibition was managed by a dedicated team including Dr. Adeel Ahmed, Dr. Shabih ul Hassan, and several other faculty members. Esteemed judges from the academic and technological fields, such as Dr. Muhammad Naeem from Riphah International University and Mr. Muhammad Ehsan, Co-founder of SmartDocument.AI, evaluated the projects.

Prof. Dr. Shafiq Ur Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of the University, attended the event, underscoring the institution’s commitment to fostering innovation and excellence among students. In his address, he praised the students for their creativity and dedication, noting that their projects not only demonstrated technical skills but also critical and innovative thinking.

“The creativity and dedication demonstrated by our students today are truly inspiring,” stated Prof. Dr. Rahman. “These projects reflect not only their technical skills but also their ability to think critically and innovatively.”

Prof. Dr. Mukhtaj Khan, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Numerical Sciences, also commended the students, emphasizing the practical relevance of their projects in addressing real-world challenges. “Our students have shown that they are ready to tackle real-world problems with innovative solutions,” he said.

The event concluded with an awards ceremony where students received prizes for the best projects, celebrating their hard work and ingenuity. The University of Haripur continues to encourage its students to excel academically and contribute to technological advancements in the region.
