Haripur: The University of Haripur has announced the successful completion of a paid internship program by its first batch of eight students at Smart Tech Solutions in Islamabad. This milestone marks a significant achievement under the university’s collaborative efforts with the industry to enhance student learning and employability.
According to The University of Haripur, the internship was a joint initiative between KUBIX CLUB and the Business Incubation Center (BIC) of the University of Haripur. The program culminated in a certificate distribution ceremony at Smart Tech Solutions, where CEO Maj. (R) Shahzad Ahmad Qureshi presented certificates to the interns. The event also featured Dr. M. Fyaz Khan, Head of the Department of Physics and KUBIX CLUB, and Mr. Waseem Iqbal, Director at Smart Tech Solutions.
Dr. Khan emphasized the importance of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed with Smart Tech Solutions, which provides a framework for ongoing and future internships, thereby offering students valuable industry experience. He highlighted how such partnerships are crucial for enhancing the practical learning experiences and career readiness of students.
The University of Haripur expressed its intention to continue and expand these collaborations, ensuring more students can benefit from practical experiences in their fields of study.
