University of Haripur Focuses on Innovative Teaching in Faculty Program

Haripur: The University of Haripur’s recent Faculty Development Training Program emphasized innovative pedagogical methods in its eighth session, aiming to transform higher education classroom practices. Spearheaded by the Human Resource Development Cell and led by Prof. Dr. Aziz Ullah, the program featured Prof. Zeeshan Zeb Khattak from NUST, Islamabad.

Prof. Khattak engaged faculty members in a discussion on moving beyond traditional lectures. He presented alternative strategies, including problem-based learning, collaborative projects, and technology-driven instruction, to foster a student-centered academic environment.

Participants actively participated in the session, considering how these innovative approaches could be applied in their own teaching practices. The session highlighted the importance of adopting new methods and the necessity of a mindset shift to equip students for the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
