HARIPUR: The University of Haripur has achieved significant positions in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject 2026, securing notable ranks in life sciences, medical and health, and physical sciences.

According to the University of Haripur press release, the institution was ranked globally between 501-600 in life sciences, placing 4th in Pakistan and 2nd in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In the medical and health category, it achieved a global rank of 601-800, standing 3rd in Pakistan and 1st in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The university also placed globally between 601-800 in physical sciences, securing 3rd position both in Pakistan and within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The university attributes this accomplishment to the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shafiq Ur Rehman and the efforts of faculty, staff, students, and the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) team.
