Lahore: The University of Central Punjab's Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) recently convened its 25th Steering Committee Meeting under the leadership of Dr. Hammad Naveed. Key topics discussed included updates on research grants, funding initiatives, patents, and industry collaborations, as well as strategies to boost commercialization activities.

According to University of Central Punjab, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh presented a comprehensive overview of ORIC's progress, aligning with the Higher Education Commission's ORIC Policy 2021. The meeting's participants reviewed the minutes of previous meetings and assessed achievements from March to April. They also deliberated on ongoing and upcoming initiatives, such as training programs and expos, and provided input aimed at strengthening research, industry engagement, and project implementation within the university.
