Lahore: Students from the University of Central Punjab’s Department of Microbiology recently participated in an industrial visit to Haleeb Foods in Bhai Pheru. The visit aimed to provide BS Microbiology students with practical exposure to the field of industrial microbiology, with a focus on quality control, food safety standards, and large-scale production processes in the dairy and food industry.
According to the University of Central Punjab, the educational session was organized by the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Science and Technology. Dr. Mohsin Gulzar Barq, an Assistant Professor and Faculty Industry Liaison Officer, coordinated the visit alongside Ms. Aimen Khan, Executive of the Career Services Office. The visit was designed to offer a structured and comprehensive learning experience, highlighting the practical applications of microbiological concepts in industry settings.
