Quetta: The University of Balochistan is inviting applications from PhD and M.Phil scholars for a two-year research assistant position at its Centre of Excellence in Mineralogy. The selected candidates will contribute to a project funded by the Higher Education Commission and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor – Collaborative Research Grant.
According to University of Balochistan, the project, titled “Metallogeny and Mineralization Potential of the Chagai Hills Granitoids, Western Pakistan,” aims to explore significant geological features in the region. Candidates must possess a first division in BS/MSc Geology or an equivalent CGPA and be enrolled in M.Phil. and PhD programs to be considered. The application process includes submitting CVs by the deadline of August 13, 2024, followed by a selection process involving tests and interviews.
