Lahore: The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore hosted its 19th Annual Bodybuilding Competition, showcasing the physical prowess of students in its Sports Auditorium Hall on December 18, 2025. The event, organized by the university’s Sports Department, featured two main categories: Mr. UET Senior and Mr. UET Junior.
Abdul Rehman, a student from the Information System Technology department, was declared Mr. UET Senior. In the junior category, Ahsan-Ul-Rehman from the Institute of Business and Management took the title of Mr. UET Junior.
Prominent university officials, including the chairman of the Sports Committee, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asif Rafiq, Dean of Electrical, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shoaib, and other departmental heads attended the event to support the participants.
The event concluded with a special performance by Haider Ali, known as Mr. Lahore 2025, who entertained the audience with a pose display. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, served as the chief guest and distributed cash prizes and trophies. Abdul Rehman received Rs. 15,000, while Ahsan-Ul-Rehman was awarded Rs. 10,000. Each participant also received Rs. 1,500 in recognition of their efforts.
The Vice-Chancellor commended the bodybuilders and praised the Sports Department for organizing the successful event.
