NUST and SESP Forge Partnership to Propel Engineering Education

ISLAMABAD: A significant partnership has been announced between the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and Saudi Electric Services Polytechnic (SESP), marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Smart Grid Conference SASG25.

The agreement was formalized by Dr. Osman Hassan, Pro-Rector of NUST, and Ebtihal Alhashim, Deputy Managing Director of SESP. This collaboration aims to foster advancements in key areas such as Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Renewable Energy, and Data Science.

The MoU outlines initiatives including joint training programs, faculty and student exchanges, and collaborative research projects. These efforts are designed to prepare future engineers with the necessary skills to address industry challenges.

This partnership is expected to enhance engineering education and strengthen the academic and research connections between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Both institutions are optimistic about the potential impacts of this collaboration on their respective educational landscapes.
