Lahore: The University of Central Punjab’s Alumni Association convened a General Body Meeting on July 19, 2024, to welcome new leadership figures, including a Pro-Rector and Provost, and to outline its future objectives. The meeting focused on bolstering the UCP brand, improving alumni relations, and enhancing student recruitment.

According to University of Central Punjab, the discussions during the meeting covered a range of initiatives aimed at better supporting the alumni and current students. These initiatives include expanding financial aid options, introducing mentorship programs, and revitalizing community engagement efforts. Challenges such as offering discount cards, increasing activities for female students, and launching impactful campaigns were also addressed.

The meeting marked a significant milestone with the establishment of an autonomous Alumni Association, dedicated to the interests of all stakeholders. The event concluded with a strong commitment from the new Provost to support the Alumni Association’s goals and to foster a more inclusive and engaging campus environment.
