Turbat: The University of Turbat’s Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) organized a session on “Writing Research Grant Proposals,” led by Dr. Javed Ahmed Shahani, a professor of computer science and ORIC director at Sukkur IBA University. The event was attended by faculty, administrative staff, and postgraduate scholars and was held in the university’s new smart classroom.

According to University of Turbat, the session, part of ORIC’s initiatives to foster a robust research culture, focused on enhancing participants’ skills in preparing competitive research grant proposals. Dr. Shahani, who has extensive academic credentials, shared insights on idea development, proposal structuring, and alignment with funding requirements.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan commended ORIC’s efforts and Dr. Shahani’s support, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in empowering faculty and scholars to pursue international research funding. Following the session, the university inaugurated its new smart classroom, developed under the Erasmus+ CBHE RAPID Project, coordinated by Dr. Shahani.
