Turbat: The University of Turbat recently hosted an online session titled “Youth as Guardians of Truth: Combating Propaganda, Manipulation, and Subversion,” drawing participation from various academic institutions across Balochistan. The virtual event, held on May 13, 2026, saw involvement from faculty, administrative staff, and students from Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology, Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences, University of Gwadar, and University of Makran.

According to University of Turbat, the keynote address was delivered by Muhammad Abdullah Hameed Gul, a socio-political figure and public speaker. He underscored the pivotal role of youth in truth-seeking and peace-building amidst global challenges, including the Iran-US conflict and Pakistan’s geopolitical dynamics. The session was moderated by UoT’s Director of Public Relations, Ijaz Ahmed, and attended by notable university officials including Registrar Ganguzar Baloch and Director of Student Affairs Chakar Haider. Abdullah Hameed Gul also engaged with participants, addressing queries on regional and global issues, particularly those concerning Balochistan. UoT Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, through the Director Public Relations, expressed gratitude to the keynote speaker and participants for their contributions.
