TNFJ Commits to National Peace Through Unity and Brotherhood Week

Islamabad: During the Universal Week of Unity and Brotherhood, observed from 12 to 18 Rabi-ul-Awwal, the Tehreek Nafaze Fiqh Jafaria Pakistan (TNFJ) emphasized its commitment to fostering national peace and harmony. The week, which coincides with Eid Milad-ul-Nabi (PBUH) and the birth of Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq (AS), saw significant demonstrations of unity among the Shia community and between Shia and Sunni Muslims.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the central convener Shaukat Abbas Jafri expressed his appreciation for the demonstrations of unity during the week’s celebrations. In a meeting held on Tuesday, Jafri detailed the ongoing efforts and the year-round commitment of TNFJ to instill the spirit of Ishq Rasool (love for the Prophet Muhammad PBUH) as a means to counter discord and strife within the nation. He also highlighted how the unification displayed during Milad and mourning processions across the country, particularly in Rawalpindi, has effectively thwarted divisive tactics by adversaries.
