Three MPhil Scholars Successfully Defend Theses at University of Turbat

Turbat: Three scholars from the University of Turbat's Department of Chemistry have successfully defended their MPhil theses, marking a significant achievement in their academic pursuits. The viva voce examinations were overseen by Dr. Haneef-ur-Rehman, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Engineering and IT, on April 21, 2026.

According to University of Turbat, the scholars—Ms. Yasmeen Saeed, Ms. Iqra Karim, and Mr. Zakir Ali—presented their research to a committee that included external examiners Dr. Akhtar Muhammad from Islamia University Peshawar and Dr. Haji Muhammad from Federal Urdu University, Karachi. Their research was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Rooh Ullah and Dr. Naeemullah, both of whom are Associate Professors in the Department of Chemistry.

In attendance at the examinations were key university figures including Dr. Waseem Barkat, Director of Graduate Studies, Dr. Zafar Ali, Head of the Department of Chemistry, and Mr. Nadeem Jan, Assistant Controller of Examinations.
