Rawalpindi: Allama Aghazi Hussain Maqdisi, The leader of Tehreek Nifaz Fiqh Jafaria (TNFJ) Pakistan, has affirmed a steadfast commitment to not compromise on the country’s religious and national interests and to rigorously implement the National Action Plan to combat terrorism. During a high-level meeting, Maqdisi emphasized the necessity of maintaining political and economic stability and the eradication of terrorism through unified national efforts.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, The meeting, which drew provincial and regional leaders from across Pakistan, served as a platform for reaffirming the TNFJ’s dedication to preventing sectarian conflicts and addressing the corruption linked to foreign funding in religious parties. Maqdisi criticized the manipulation of religious sentiments for financial gains, highlighting the detrimental impact of such practices on the nation’s integrity. He also stressed the importance of respecting the Mousavi-jo-Nijo Agreement of May 21, 1985, which he described as a landmark in the fight for religious freedom and the ideological foundation of Pakistan.

Further, Maqdisi declared a zero-tolerance policy towards interference in religious practices and the implementation of bans on proscribed organizations. He articulated the TNFJ’s role in safeguarding religious traditions and the broader societal framework, particularly during the mourning of Imam Hussain (AS), which he characterized as essential to religious preservation and social justice.
