Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya Calls for Establishment of Muharram Mourning Cells to Address Mourner Concerns

Rawalpindi: During the commemoration of the 10th anniversary of Karbala, Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya (TNFJ) has urged the government to establish dedicated Muharram Mourning Cells at both federal and provincial levels. This call was made amidst various mourning processions and condolence meetings held in Rawalpindi, aiming to address and resolve issues faced by mourners.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the resolution passed during these gatherings stressed the importance of immediate government action to facilitate the mourning process. The organization highlighted the historical and ongoing significance of these observances, which are deeply rooted in the mourning traditions for Imam Hussain and his followers, who are revered figures in Shia Islam.

The speakers, including Allama Syed Qar Hussain Naqvi and Mufti Bassim Abbas Zahiri, emphasized the resilience and sacrifice of Imam Zainul Abidin, drawing parallels to contemporary struggles for justice. The TNFJ has called for more visibility and coordination in handling the logistical and safety aspects of Muharram observances, ensuring that the rights and needs of mourners are adequately met.
