Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh Jafaria Commemorates ‘Noor Day’ Amidst Calls for Constitutional Rights Protection

Rawalpindi: Today, under the banner of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh Jafaria (TNFJ), ‘Noor Day’ is observed nationwide with deep religious fervor and dedication, despite government restrictions on public gatherings and mourning processions.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the day dedicated to the remembrance of Hazrat Imam Musa Kazim (peace be upon him) saw the organization of ‘Majlis-e-Noor’ across various religious sites, despite strict SOPs limiting such activities. TNFJ leaders vocally criticized these restrictions, asserting that they infringe upon the Shiite community’s constitutional rights to worship and express their faith openly.

The events, overseen by the Central Yom Noor Committee and chaired by Hasan Kazmi, included speeches highlighting the virtuous life of Hazrat Imam Musa Kazim as a moral guide for humanity. TNFJ has called for adequate security measures during these observances and urged the media to provide extensive coverage of the day’s spiritual significance.
