The establishment of Pakistan is certainly a miracle of recent history and we are thankful to Allah Almighty that we have been given such a great blessing as freedom, but we must ask ourselves today whether we have achieved those goals and objectives, for the acquisition of which we had acquired this homeland.

Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha, emphasizing on the students, that today is the time for nation building and I am sure that the talent in our young generation will take full part in nation building. Children in public and private schools and madrassas will study the same curriculum. Through this curriculum we will emerge as good citizens of the country.

“Given our low literacy rate, we need to pay special attention to education so that we can catch up with other nations in science and technology, industry, agriculture and the economy,” he added. At the end of the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha (S.I.) also inaugurated a tree plantation campaign in front of the new academic block.
