EZVIZ launches the groundbreaking 4G & Wi-Fi Battery Camera Family, embedded with advanced wild animal detection, 4G & Wi-Fi auto-switching, and new AOV technology, smashing the pain points of battery camera usage.

JOHANNESBURG, Feb. 02, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — EZVIZ, recognized for reshaping the smart security landscape with its pioneering technologies, reinvents a familiar favorite with the debut of its 4G & Wi-Fi battery camera family. By weaving dual 4G & Wi-Fi flexibility with refined video intelligence and continuous monitoring through upgraded Always-On Video technology, the series not only captures activity with unprecedented clarity but does so in a manner that respects both technological advancement and human experience.

Built on flexible connectivity, dependable performance, and all-weather endurance, the EZVIZ 4G & Wi-Fi Battery Camera Family comes in three complementary lines. The Lite Series delivers straightforward, everyday protection; the 4K Pro Series offers ultra-clear 4K detail and continuous monitoring for demanding outdoor conditions; and the Dual-Lens Series tops the lineup with co-acted twin lenses and multi-angle views for the most complete coverage and all-day clarity.

“Outdoor security shouldn’t stop where Wi-Fi ends,” said Byron Fang, Product Director of EZVIZ’s Smart Home Camera R&D Department. “Our upgraded 4G family is built for the real world—stronger connectivity, longer-lasting power, and reliable recording. Wherever you need coverage—home, farm, or off-grid—you can count on it.”

Most smart home cameras force an unnecessary tradeoff: Wi-Fi–only devices struggle at the edges of a property, while 4G-only cameras can falter in low-signal areas and rack up mobile data costs. That means missed alerts, recording gaps, and reduced coverage. EZVIZ’s new product family overcomes these challenges through automatic switching between Wi-Fi and 4G, ensuring continuous operation and timely alerts. By prioritizing available Wi-Fi to optimize efficiency and leveraging 4G where needed to preserve coverage, these cameras offer unmatched installation flexibility. The result is a flexible, resilient network of 4G cameras, enabling dependable monitoring anywhere.

Battery-powered cameras often leave people choosing between staying protected and preserving power—too many motion alerts drain the battery, while nonstop recording clogs storage and buries users in useless clips. EZVIZ solves this with upgraded AOV and AI-powered detection: it records in high resolution only when meaningful activity is detected, and can distinguish between people, pets, and 20+ wildlife species to send accurate alerts at the right time. Paired with a large-capacity battery and optional solar panel, it delivers dependable, low-maintenance outdoor monitoring from home to wildlife areas.

  • Kyowa Kirin to Regain Control of Rocatinlimab Development and Commercialization Program, Demonstrating Strong Commitment to Address High Unmet Medical Need in Atopic Dermatitis

    • Kyowa Kirin affirms commitment to developing rocatinlimab as a life-changing differentiated asset with significant market potential.
    • Rocatinlimab’s novel approach as an investigational T-cell rebalancing therapy directly targeting the OX40 receptor expressed on pathogenic T-cells shows potential to deliver long-term disease control in patients with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (msAD).
    • Regulatory submission is planned in the first half of 2026.

TOKYO and PRINCETON, N.J., Jan. 30, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Kyowa Kirin Co., Ltd. (TSE:4151, Kyowa Kirin), a Japan-based global specialty pharmaceutical company, today announced the termination of the current rocatinlimab development and commercialization collaboration with Amgen. Kyowa Kirin will regain control of the global rocatinlimab program, including regulatory filings and future commercialization. This business decision is the result of a strategic portfolio prioritization by Amgen. The companies are initiating a smooth and orderly transition of the program, with a focus on ensuring continuity for participants currently enrolled in clinical trial programs. Amgen, who has partnered with Kyowa Kirin on numerous investigational therapies over 41 years, will continue to manufacture rocatinlimab.

“Kyowa Kirin is confident in the potential of rocatinlimab to address critical unmet needs for patients with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis who are looking for new, long-lasting options that may address the chronic nature of unpredictable flares,” said Abdul Mullick, Ph.D., President and Chief Operating Officer of Kyowa Kirin. “Rocatinlimab’s science and its highly differentiated mechanism of action targeting the OX40 receptor make it a potentially unique treatment option. We are excited to build on the strong clinical program we have established and apply our extensive clinical and commercial expertise to help make patients smile with what is a key strategic priority for Kyowa Kirin going forward.”

In November 2025, landmark findings from the Phase 3 ROCKET-IGNITE and ROCKET-HORIZON studies in nearly 1,500 adults with msAD were published in The Lancet. Both studies evaluated rocatinlimab monotherapy and met all co-primary and key secondary endpoints, including the US regulatory submission requirement, the revised Investigator’s Global Assessment (rIGA) score of 0/1 (defined as achieving a vIGA-AD score of 0 [clear skin] or 1 [almost clear skin] with only presence of barely perceptible erythema and ≥2-point reduction from baseline). For the more stringent rIGA score of 0 or 1 endpoint, patients with a score of 1 could not have any induration, papulation, or lichenification. Previously announced topline results from the primary analysis of the long-term safety extension study ROCKET-ASCEND demonstrated the potential for long-term therapeutic effect and extended dosing. The most frequent treatment-emergent adverse events (AEs) in adults (≥ 5 per 100 patient-years in any of the rocatinlimab groups and greater than placebo), included upper respiratory infections (including nasopharyngitis and pharyngitis), aphthous ulcers, headache, influenza, cough and rhinitis, which were observed in previous ROCKET trials. Results from this trial will be presented at an upcoming medical conference.

Rocatinlimab was discovered and advanced by Kyowa Kirin, drawing on the company’s deep expertise in immunology and antibody engineering. It reflects the strength of the company’s internal R&D capabilities and long-term investment in science that targets the underlying drivers of chronic inflammatory disease, not just its symptoms. The Phase 3 ROCKET program is a comprehensive clinical development program in atopic dermatitis, which consists of eight pivotal studies evaluating both long-term efficacy and safety. The program includes diverse patient populations including adults and adolescents, systemic treatment–naïve patients, as well as those previously treated with biologics and JAK inhibitors, underscoring its potential as a meaningful treatment option for people living with atopic dermatitis across a broad range of clinical scenarios.

“Based on the data available to-date, rocatinlimab has demonstrated a generally favorable benefit–risk profile across its Phase 3 clinical program, in which more than 3,300 patients with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis have been enrolled,” said Takeyoshi Yamashita, Ph.D., Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Kyowa Kirin. “The potential to provide a meaningful and sustained clinical response may be important, particularly for patients who continue to experience symptoms despite existing therapies. We will continue to evaluate rocatinlimab’s clinical profile as development progresses and look forward to presenting additional data from the program at future medical congresses.”

The company plans to file for regulatory approval in the U.S. first, followed by Japan, before expanding to other markets across the world as appropriate.

    About Rocatinlimab
Rocatinlimab is an anti-OX40 monoclonal antibody being investigated for the treatment of moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis. Rocatinlimab has the potential to be the first and only T-cell rebalancing therapy that inhibits and reduces pathogenic effector and memory T-cells by targeting the OX40 receptor. OX40 is a co-stimulatory receptor responsible for driving systemic and local inflammatory responses in atopic dermatitis and other conditions. It has been reported that effector T-cells expressing OX40 are present in the lesions of patients with atopic dermatitis and are critical in the disease pathophysiology. Rocatinlimab is also being studied for moderate to severe uncontrolled asthma, prurigo nodularis and potentially other conditions where T-cell imbalance is a root cause of inflammation. The initial antibody was discovered in collaboration between Kyowa Kirin and La Jolla Institute for Immunology. Rocatinlimab is currently under clinical investigation, and its safety and efficacy have not been evaluated by the U.S. FDA or any other regulatory authority.

  • EF launches search for strategic partner in bid to become world’s best cycling team

Additional investment builds on EF’s existing commitment and will go towards building Tour de France Femmes winning squad and long-term talent development on men’s and U23 squads

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Jan. 30, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — EF (Education First) is launching an unprecedented and unique opportunity, opening the first naming rights for EF Pro Cycling to an additional partner ready to shape the next era of professional cycling together with EF.

EF will remain the team’s owner and long-term anchor partner at an unchanged level of investment. The opening of a title partner position is designed to add resources on top of EF’s existing commitment, enabling the team to compete with the largest budgets in the sport and accelerate its ambitions. This opportunity gives a partner the chance to help build the team of the future alongside EF, while gaining visibility in front of millions of fans worldwide.

EF’s long-term vision is focused on three clear outcomes:

    • Win the Tour de France Femmes within the next three years
    • Continue building the world leading development pathway in professional cycling
    • Win both men’s and women’s Tours de France within the next decade with riders developed through the EF Pro Cycling system

“It’s rare in professional sport, and nearly unheard of in cycling, for an owner and anchor partner to commit long-term at EF’s current level and still invite an additional title partner to invest purely to make the team stronger,” says team CEO Jonathan Vaughters. “We owe a great deal to EF. They recognize the incredible opportunity we have to keep building something truly special.”

Founded in 2003 on the belief that fans deserved a team they could trust, the team has won monuments, Olympic medals, world championships, and a grand tour while also broadening the horizons of the sport with victories at gravel events like Unbound. EF acquired the team in 2017, recognizing the parallels between cycling’s global spirit and the company’s mission of opening the world through education and cultural exchange.

“Our sport has changed dramatically over the past two decades,” says Vaughters. “WorldTour budgets have risen at an unprecedented pace, and we see this as an opportunity to partner with a brand that shares our vision of winning at the highest level while staying true to who we are.”

The team will keep building around key riders such as Ben Healy, Magdeleine Vallieres, Kristen Faulkner, Richard Carapaz and Neilson Powless – who have all signed long-term contract extensions with the team – while also developing the exciting young talents already proving themselves on the world stage.

“This is a unique opportunity for an organization to partner with a global team and organization such as EF. Together, we can build a team that extends far beyond traditional sponsorship, creating lasting value and impact for years to come,” says EF Education First Global Chief of Staff and EF Pro Cycling President Maria Norrman.

On-bike success has always been the foundation of EF Pro Cycling, complemented by one of the strongest and most engaged digital platforms in professional cycling. Since 2017, the team has consistently ranked among the top teams in the sport for social media impressions and engagement, while delivering one of the strongest returns on investment for a title partner across professional sports, according to Nielsen Analytics.

Just as importantly, EF Pro Cycling is defined by the longevity and consistency of its partnerships with brands such as EasyPost, Cannondale, Wahoo and POC. These long-term partners have helped build EF Pro Cycling into what it is today, remaining committed far longer than is typical in professional sport. This reflects a shared belief in the team’s values, spirit, and long-term vision.

“Title sponsorship amplifies the reach to the cycling audience, and EF Pro Cycling is well positioned to benefit from the trends and growth in the cycling audience and viewership,” says Nielsen Sports Commercial Director and Head of Cycling Jerome Bouchat. “This team cultivates its own image to stand out and understands that to attract brands, it must be as visible as possible and offer powerful storytelling.”

Join us and enter the next chapter of our 23-year history as we build the world’s best team.

  • CGTN: Beyond differences: Why the British PM calls long-awaited China trip a ‘huge opportunity’

CGTN published an article on UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s visit to China, highlighting that amid rising global uncertainty, Beijing and London are placing greater emphasis on long-term stability, pragmatic cooperation and shared interests in global governance and economic growth.

BEIJING, Jan. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Chinese President Xi Jinping met British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Beijing on Thursday, marking the first visit by a UK prime minister to China in eight years. Both leaders emphasized the need to build a long-term consistent comprehensive strategic partnership.

Emphasizing the need to see history from a broader perspective, Xi called on the two countries to transcend differences and maintain mutual respect, so that the promising potential of cooperation could be translated into remarkable accomplishments, benefiting both peoples and the world.

Starmer opened the meeting by acknowledging the long gap in high-level exchanges. It had been “too long” since a British prime minister last visited China, he said. Upon arriving in Beijing, he framed the trip in pragmatic terms. “It is in our national interest to engage with China,” Starmer told reporters. “There are huge opportunities to be had.”

As permanent members of the UN Security Council and major global economies, China and the UK share vital interests in promoting economic growth, supporting social development and contributing to global stability.

Seeking cooperation in an uncertain world

Analysts say Starmer’s visit reflects a broader European trend, where countries are increasingly seeking pragmatic engagement with China amid rising global uncertainty.

Recent months have seen high-level visits to China by leaders from France, Ireland and Finland. A CGTN poll showed that 85.2 percent of respondents believe such frequent visits reflect a broad consensus on achieving equal and orderly multipolarity, as well as inclusive and beneficial globalization.

Wang Zhanpeng, director of the UK Studies Center at Beijing Foreign Studies University, noted that the unpredictable policies, unilateralism and assertive actions of the Trump administration had posed challenges for Europe. He said European leaders’ visits reflect a recognition that China’s development is neither a challenge nor a threat to Europe. “Starmer’s visit could further encourage others to move beyond the dilemma of choosing sides and support a more balanced, multipolar global order,” he added.

Vince Cable, former UK secretary of State for Business and Trade, offered a similar perspective. “The erratic behavior of the Trump administration is causing many Western countries, not just the UK, to balance their relationships in a different way,” he told CGTN.

Xi also pointed out that the international order has for some time been severely impacted. He emphasized that international law can only be truly effective when all countries, especially major powers, abide by it. “China and the UK, as supporters of multilateralism and free trade, should jointly advocate and practice genuine multilateralism, fostering a fairer and more equitable global governance system, building an orderly multipolar world and promoting inclusive globalization.”

Starmer added that China plays a key role in international affairs and said the UK is willing to cooperate on challenges such as climate change to help maintain global stability.

    Turning stability into economic benefits

During the meeting, Xi described the essence of China-UK economic and trade cooperation as mutually beneficial and win-win.

He said both sides should expand collaboration in education, healthcare, finance and services, as well as joint research and industrial applications in artificial intelligence (AI), biosciences, renewable energy and low-carbon technologies. He also called on the UK to provide a fair and non-discriminatory business environment for Chinese enterprises.

Economic ties remain a central pillar of the bilateral relationship as China has long been one of the UK’s top five trading partners, with annual trade consistently at the hundred-billion-dollar level. According to China’s Ministry of Commerce, goods trade reached $103.7 billion in 2025, while services trade is expected to surpass $30 billion, and two-way investment stock stands at nearly $68 billion. UK government figures also show that China is now the UK’s third-largest trading partner, supporting around 370,000 jobs. The CGTN poll also showed that 85.8 percent of respondents believe China’s vast market represents a significant opportunity for British businesses.

Starmer led a delegation of more than 60 representatives from the UK’s business and cultural sectors, highlighting the practical economic stakes. Speaking during the meeting, he said the UK is ready to maintain high-level exchanges and deepen cooperation in trade, investment, finance and environmental protection, aiming to support growth and deliver tangible benefits to people in both countries.
