Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah held a crucial meeting with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Central President of the PPP Women’s Wing, Faryal Talpur, at Bilawal House on Monday to discuss imminent flood threats in the region.
The meeting, highlighted in a press release from the Media Cell Bilawal House, focused on the pressing issue of potential flooding. The Chief Minister provided an update to the party’s top brass on the current flood situation across Sindh. In response, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari underscored the urgency of implementing necessary precautionary measures to safeguard citizens potentially impacted by rising waters.
He instructed the Chief Minister to enhance flood monitoring systems and stressed the importance of active involvement from Sindh government officials, alongside PPP members, in supporting affected communities during this challenging period.
Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah reassured the party leadership of the provincial administration’s readiness and capacity to address the looming crisis and manage any resulting challenges efficiently.
