Shanze Noreen’s Art Exhibition Draws Enthusiasts to Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: A painting exhibition featuring the works of Shanze Noreen, an artist from Murree, was organized by the Punjab Arts Council, showcasing over 70 of her paintings. The event, aimed at promoting cultural heritage and providing a platform for emerging artists, was inaugurated by Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Culture Ms. Shazia Rizwan and Chief Traffic Police Officer Rawalpindi Ms. Beenish Fatima.

According to Punjab Arts Council, the exhibition was attended by a large number of art enthusiasts, students, and individuals associated with the arts. The guests included Director of the Arts Council Sajjad Hussain, Deputy Director Muhammad Shakoor, and Assistant Director Muhammad Suleman. During the inauguration, Ms. Shazia Rizwan highlighted the significance of Shanze Noreen’s artworks as an inspiration for the younger generation and their role in showcasing the country’s cultural heritage. Ms. Beenish Fatima emphasized the importance of such exhibitions in promoting fine arts and providing opportunities for young artists.

Sajjad Hussain, Director of the Arts Council, stated that the exhibition serves to offer a platform for emerging artists to demonstrate their creative abilities while contributing to the promotion of cultural values. The event’s participants underscored the necessity of organizing more cultural programs in the future to further support the arts community.
