Dubai: In the lead-up to the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, Scotland and Sri Lanka logged victories in their respective warm-up matches. Scotland overcame Pakistan with an eight-wicket win, while Sri Lanka triumphed over Bangladesh by 33 runs, showcasing strong performances that set the tone for their upcoming campaign.

According to International Cricket Council, Scotland was led by Captain Kathryn Bryce, who took three wickets to restrict Pakistan to 134 for nine. Her sister, Sarah Bryce, played a pivotal role in the chase, scoring an unbeaten 58, which propelled Scotland to a comfortable victory. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka’s victory was highlighted by Sugandika Kumari’s hat-trick, which decisively hampered Bangladesh’s efforts to chase down the target.
