ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari administered the oath to Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar, appointing him as the Acting Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court (IHC). The ceremony took place at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, marking a significant legal appointment for the judiciary.

According to a statement by Pakistan Peoples Party, the event was initiated with the national anthem and a recitation from the Holy Quran.
