Haripur: In a recent electoral event at The University of Haripur, Sajid Mehmood has been officially elected as a Member Syndicate. The university held the election under the statutes of the Haripur Election to the University Authorities Statutes 2016.
According to The University of Haripur, the election took place on September 3, 2024, in line with Section 22 (1) (k) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Universities Act 2012, amended in 2016. Mehmood will serve as a Law Officer in the Syndicate starting from August 17, 2024, for a three-year term. This election marks a significant administrative change in the university governance structure.
The university’s registrar’s office has already forwarded the official notification of this election result to key university personnel including the Vice Chancellor, Registrar, and all deans of faculties. Additionally, the election result is to be made available on the university’s official website, ensuring that all academic and administrative departments are updated.
