Rawalpindi: The ‘Days of Revival of Determination of Mousavi,’ a series of events commemorating the second anniversary of the Supreme Shia Ulama Board leader Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi-ul-Najafi, concluded with national gatherings, prayer sessions, and conferences. These events, organized by the Tehreek-i-Nifaz-e-Fiqah-i-Jafriya and the family of Agha Mousavi, saw widespread participation from religious, political, and social leaders across Pakistan.
According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the grand assembly held at the Maktab-e-Shi’i-ul-Masjid in Satellite Town, Rawalpindi, attracted a diverse group of participants, including NFJ workers, mourners, legal professionals, and members of the business community. The gatherings featured Quran recitations, prayer meetings, and speeches by key figures, including Allama Agha Syed Hussain Muqdisi, who reaffirmed the commitment to uphold the legacy of Agha Hamid Mousavi.
The event highlighted the dedication of its participants to Shia-Sunni unity and the defense of the homeland against internal and external threats. Allama Muqdisi, in his address, emphasized the importance of continuing the mourning traditions in honor of Imam Hussain (A.S.) and stated a commitment to resist any obstacles to these practices. He also touched upon the threats posed by colonial and satanic forces aiming to erase the memory of Imam Hussain (A.S.) and undermine the foundational values of the community.
In a declaration issued during the event, The attendees vowed to remain steadfast in their support for the ‘Mousavi peace formula,’ a strategy proposed by Agha Hamid Mousavi for countering terrorism and promoting peace within the country. The declaration also called for the banning of foreign aid to outlawed groups and the rejection of controversial educational curricula that conflict with Muslim teachings.
The event not only served as a remembrance of Agha Hamid Mousavi’s contributions but also as a reaffirmation of the community’s resolve to face future challenges with unity and faith.
