Quetta: Chairman of the Prime Minister Youth Development Center, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, recently visited Jamia Balochistan where he met with key university officials to discuss educational developments and future plans.
According to University of Balochistan, during his visit, Khan spoke with Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Alam Tareen, Registrar Muhammad Tariq Jogizai, and other university representatives. The discussions focused on the educational and research activities of Jamia Balochistan, the broader educational landscape of the province, and strategies for future development.
Khan highlighted the university’s pivotal role in fostering academic research and knowledge dissemination in Balochistan, emphasizing its contribution to societal development through education. He stressed the importance of educational institutions in guiding the youth towards positive contributions to society and achieving national development goals through higher education and research.
The visit included a tour of various departments at Jamia Balochistan, where Khan commended the efforts of the faculty and administration in advancing educational objectives despite resource limitations. The Vice-Chancellor, in his remarks, underscored the necessity of adapting educational goals to meet modern requirements and highlighted the critical role of educated manpower in societal development.
The meeting concluded with the presentation of a commemorative portrait to Chairman Khan, symbolizing the university’s appreciation for his visit and the government’s support.
