LAHORE: Punjab University will host an awareness seminar focused on educating youth about tuberculosis prevention and eradication in Punjab. The event, organized by the Sughra Begum Center for Education Policy and Development in partnership with the Department of Gender Studies and the Government of Punjab, seeks to address public health concerns related to tuberculosis. It is scheduled to take place on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Department of Gender Studies at the university.
According to University of the Punjab, the seminar will feature a lineup of notable speakers, including Provincial Minister for Health and Population Khawaja Imran Nazir and Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali, among others. The event aims to engage young participants in discussions on tuberculosis, highlighting strategies for its prevention and control within the region.
