Punjab University Library Hosts Workshop on NVivo Software for Qualitative Research

Lahore: The Punjab University Library has successfully hosted a hands-on training workshop titled “Qualitative Data Analysis and Interpretation using NVivo Software.” The workshop was part of the library’s “Advanced Research Support Services” initiative, designed to bolster the research capabilities of M.Phil and Ph.D scholars interested in qualitative research methodologies.

According to University of the Punjab, the workshop was led by Dr. Murtaza Ashiq, Librarian of the Punjab University Library. It drew participants from five different universities and included comprehensive sessions on NVivo software usage, such as installation, data import, file classification, coding, analysis, visualization, and result interpretation. The event aimed to provide scholars with practical skills necessary for effective research analysis using this advanced software tool.

The Punjab University Library expressed its appreciation for the active participation and contributions of the attendees, which significantly contributed to the workshop’s success. The library is committed to continuing its support for scholarly research through more such workshops and training sessions as part of its ongoing Advanced Research Support Services.
