LAHORE: Punjab University has conferred ten PhD degrees in various disciplines, marking a significant academic milestone for the institution. The recipients include scholars from fields such as History, Education, Urdu, High Energy Physics, Arabic, Zoology, Communication Studies, Biological Sciences, and Gender Studies.

According to University of the Punjab, the degrees were awarded to Li Jugang in History, Ehtisham Manzoor in Education, Qamar Abbas Alvi in Urdu, Nida Raees in High Energy Physics, Uzair Salih in Arabic, Anjum Shaheen in Zoology, Muhammad Asim in Communication Studies, Kanwal Shabbir in Biological Sciences (Biochemistry), Amna Latif in History, and Omair Azam in Gender Studies. This academic achievement highlights the university's commitment to fostering research and scholarly excellence across a wide array of disciplines.
