Punjab University Confers PhD Degrees to Ten Scholars

Lahore, Punjab University has recently awarded PhD degrees to ten scholars across various disciplines, marking a significant achievement in the academic careers of these individuals and contributing to the university’s legacy of academic excellence.

According to University of The Punjab, the recipients hail from diverse fields of study, showcasing the institution’s broad academic spectrum. Amna Mushtaq, daughter of Mushtaq Hussain, was awarded a PhD in Sociology, while Aneela Munir, daughter of Muhammad Munir, earned her degree in Zoology. Muhammad Ajmal, son of Muhammad Afzal, completed his PhD in Mathematics, and Syed Muhammad Saqib Saleem, son of Syed Muhammad Saleem, achieved his degree in Communication Studies. Maria Mushtaq, daughter of Mushtaq Ahmed, also received a PhD in Zoology.

The list of awardees includes Muhammad Hasnain Shahzad, son of Muhammad Zulqarnain, and Syed Asif Ali Shah, son of Syed Wasif Ali Shah, both of whom completed their studies in Mathematics. Mehwish Rauf, daughter of Abdul Rauf, was awarded a PhD in Agriculture Sciences (Plant Pathology). Shabana Kauser, daughter of Talib Hussain, achieved her degree in Chemistry, and Sitara Nasar, daughter of Nasar Saeed, completed her PhD in Biological Sciences (Molecular Biology).
