Punjab University Awards Ten PhD Degrees

LAHORE: Punjab University has conferred PhD degrees to ten scholars across various academic disciplines. The recipients of these degrees come from diverse fields, showcasing the university’s wide-ranging academic offerings.

Among the newly awarded PhDs, Fahad Riaz, son of Riaz Ahmed, earned his degree in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering. Afifa Sadaqat, daughter of Sadaqat Hussain, completed her doctorate in Physics. Fareeha Fatima, daughter of Tayyab Husnain, achieved her PhD in Molecular Biology.

Shahzad Kamran, son of Abdul Majeed, was awarded a PhD in Pharmacy with a specialization in Pharmacology. In the realm of Agricultural Sciences, specifically Food Science and Technology, Muzzammal Ahmed Muzzafar, son of Muzzafar Ahmed, received his degree.

Neelam Fatima, daughter of Farooq Ahmad, also joined the ranks of PhD holders in Molecular Biology. Nadeem Ahmad, son of Nusrat Ahmad, was awarded a PhD in Space Science, focusing on Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System.

Further awards went to Farooq Bashir, son of Bashir Ahmad Butt, who earned his degree in Pharmacy, and Samina Yousaf, daughter of Muhammad Yousaf, who completed her PhD in Botany. Hafiz Muhammad Awais Sarwar, son of Muhammad Sarwar, rounded out the group with a doctorate in Zoology.

This group of scholars reflects the university’s commitment to advancing research and academic excellence across a spectrum of scientific fields.
