Punjab Arts Council Hosts “Beautiful Pakistan” Exhibition in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi: The Punjab Arts Council organized a one-day painting exhibition titled “Beautiful Pakistan” as part of the Independence Day Celebrations, featuring works by prominent local artists and aimed at showcasing the country’s cultural and natural heritage.

According to Punjab Arts Council, the event was attended by Malik Iftikhar Ahmad and Malik Mansoor Afsar, members of the Punjab assembly, who served as chief guests. The exhibition displayed artworks by artists such as Khurram Shehbaz Babri, Muhammad Younas Romi, and Tabinda Batool, among others, emphasizing Pakistan’s scenic beauty and rich historical legacy. Special guest Malik Iftikhar Ahmed highlighted the importance of such exhibitions in fostering a greater appreciation for the arts and encouraging confidence among Pakistani artists.

The Arts Council officials, including Director Sajjad Hussain, expressed their commitment to supporting young artists and stressed the importance of including art as a critical component of children’s education and development. The event concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation to the participating artists.
