Lahore: The management of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) convened a meeting with all stakeholders, including franchise representatives, title sponsors, media rights partners, and commercial partners, at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. The gathering focused on evaluating the league’s achievements and discussing strategies for future growth.
Representatives from media rights partners conducted workshops with the PSL management, led by Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer. Ali Imran from Walee Technologies, Rao Umar Hashim Khan from Trans Group, and Ayaz Imam from A Sports participated and shared their observations with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Digital.
Ali Habib, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for HBL, the title sponsor of the league, praised the tournament’s consistency. He highlighted the PSL’s ability to engage fans and establish itself as a significant sporting brand over the past decade.
Ali Imran, Senior Vice President of Walee Technologies, emphasized the league’s digital reach, noting that 57.4 million fans in Pakistan streamed PSL matches, accumulating over 3.4 billion views across various platforms. He expressed appreciation for the PSL team’s support in connecting the league with its audience.
Rao Umar Hashim Khan of Trans Group reflected on the PSL’s growth and expressed optimism about its future. He commended the league for becoming a showcase for quality cricket and representing Pakistan on an international stage.
Ayaz Imam from A Sports acknowledged the tournament’s stature as Pakistan’s premier sporting event. He cited rising broadcast ratings as evidence of the PSL’s success and anticipated continued excellence in future seasons.
HBL’s Ali Habib called attention to the league’s track record over the last decade, underscoring its organizational capabilities in hosting a large-scale tournament featuring international players. He encouraged stakeholders to take pride in the milestone achievements of the PSL.
