Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr, discussing key issues pertaining to the nation's political, economic, and security landscape. The discussions also extended to current regional and global conditions.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, the meeting was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Deputy Prime Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control, Senator Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi. Other attendees were Minister for Law & Justice, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, Minister for Economic Affairs Division, Senator Ahad Khan Cheema, and Advisors to the Prime Minister, Dr. Syed Touqeer Hussain Shah and Senator Rana Sanaullah. Senator Sherry Rehman and Raja Pervez Ashraf, MNA, were also present.
