Islamabad: The President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Asif Ali Zardari, is set to embark on an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain from January 13 to January 16, 2026. This visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations and explore opportunities for increased cooperation between the two nations.
President Zardari will be accompanied by a high-level delegation during his trip. The visit will include meetings with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who is the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain.
Discussions are expected to cover a range of topics, including bilateral, regional, and international issues of mutual interest. Key areas of focus will be enhancing trade and economic partnerships, strengthening defence and security ties, and fostering people-to-people connections.
The visit underscores Pakistan's commitment to reinforcing its longstanding relationship with Bahrain and expanding collaborative opportunities with the Gulf nation.
