Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has conveyed his warm felicitations to His Majesty Emperor Naruhito, Her Majesty the Empress, and the people of Japan on the occasion of Japan's National Foundation Day and the Emperor's Birthday.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, President Zardari, in a letter, emphasized the longstanding relations between Pakistan and Japan. He noted that the bilateral partnership covers a wide range of fields and is based on a shared commitment to international peace, stability, and development. The President expressed confidence that under Emperor Naruhito's guidance, relations between Pakistan and Japan would continue to grow stronger.

President Zardari also extended his sincere wishes for the health of Their Majesties and for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of Japan.
