President Zardari Oversees Signing of Key MoUs in Changsha

Changsha, China: President Asif Ali Zardari witnessed the signing of three memorandums of understanding between Pakistani and Chinese entities, focusing on desalination, agricultural technology, and tea industry cooperation. The agreements are aimed at fostering collaboration in these sectors.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, the first MoU was concluded between the Local Government, Government of Sindh, and Lucion Environmental Technology Group. This agreement involves a seawater desalination project in Karachi to improve the city's water supply. Mr. Sharjeel Inam Memon, Sindh Senior Minister, signed on behalf of Pakistan, while Mr. Yuhui, Secretary of the Party Branch and Chairman of Lucion, signed for China.

The second MoU involves the Local Government, Government of Sindh, and Long Ping Hi-tech Information Company, focusing on agricultural technology cooperation. Mr. Sharjeel Inam Memon and Mr. Chen Zhixin, Chairman of Longping High-Tech Information Company, signed the agreement.

The third MoU was signed among MESKAY and FEMTEE Trading Company, Hunan Tea Group, and Jiaolong International Technology (Hainan). This agreement aims to advance collaboration in the tea industry, promoting development and strengthening ties between the countries. Senator Saleem Mandviwalla signed for Pakistan, while Mr. Zhou Chongwang and Mr. Hao Jiaolong signed for China.

Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Sindh, Ali Hassan Barohi, Chief Secretary of Sindh, and Pakistan's Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi were also present at the event.
