Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed his deepest condolences to the Government and people of Canada in the wake of a mass shooting in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia.
According to Pakistan Peoples Party, President Zardari voiced sorrow over the loss of life, which included several students, and hoped for a swift recovery for those injured. He also acknowledged the actions of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and emergency responders who quickly managed the situation.
President Zardari stated, "Pakistan stands in solidarity with our Canadian brothers and sisters during this time of grief." He reaffirmed the Government of Pakistan's commitment to condemning all acts of violence and promoting peace and tolerance.
